November Hymn

The second single of our album Creatures is out today. November Hymn looks back at some of my memories growing up in Füssen in the Bavarian alps. Perhaps it is also a statement about climate change. Backpacker

Backpacker is released today. It's the first single of our new album Creatures. Telling the story of a somewhat lost traveller, this song was started on a summer evening in Palermo and then finished during lockdown in 2020. It wasn't included on Somewhere Between, as I knew it would be a much better fit on Creatures. Listen on the streaming service of your choice or watch the music video on YouTube.

Crowdfunding

 

Creatures, the second album by Grizzly Bird, will be released this summer. It combines brand new songs with old favourites from the days of playing with string section IG Streichmetall that had never before been recorded. Before we release the album, we are running a crowdfunding campaign to help us finance the vinyl pressing. You can already pre-order the album on CD or vinyl through on the crowdfunding page.

Somewhere Between

The new Grizzly Bird EP Somewhere Between is out now. We recorded it mostly live in just two days last August at The Famous Gold Watch Studios, Berlin. After the conceptually and emotionally heavy album Empathy, these songs show a more stripped down and lighter side of Grizzly Bird. It's our first release on vinyl, available on Bandcamp.
